Walrus Kayaks is a small company made up of kayakers with a shared passion for designing and building the best touring kayaks possible. We build the best kayaks because we want to paddle the best kayaks.

Our process is unique. We use the latest technologies and materials to maximize strength and durability while minimizing weight. As we paddle our way into the future of kayak manufacturing, we leave polyester & vinyl ester resins, hand laminating and vacuum bagging in our wake. They are the past of kayak manufacturing. A vacuum infusion process with epoxy resin is the future. We are the only manufacturer that builds every boat with epoxy infusion process.

We offer bespoke boats to every customer. Our builders are artisans. They take satisfaction in knowing who will paddle the boat when the building process is finished. The construction process begins with a conversation about your specific needs and desires. After we have dreamed up a boat together and tweaked our many custom features to your specifications, our office staff passes the order to the builders to begin construction. The builder who initiates the construction process for your boat is responsible for seeing the boat through to final delivery. You will enjoy the quality and craftsmanship that's achievable when one builder is solely responsible for the finished product.
